My first solo art exhibition, I participated in many art competitions and was able to win many of them. This encouraged me to do a solo art exhibition named “ Sonduro Piyawara” (a Beautiful Step) in 2006.
In my first solo exhibition I displayed some of my sculptures which I did them for self practicing, even though those sculptures were not into a professional level at that time, I felt that they(those sculptures) were telling something to all the viewers including professional artists in my country such as Mr. M. D. S. Gunatillake (person who is wearing a brownish check shirt next to me) Professional writers like Mr. Thilakaratne (the person who is bended down towards sculptures and wearing a blue shirt)
My lovely mother (person who is wearing a red colour saree) enjoyed seeing my exhibition with her sisters who are next to herself and blessed me.
The fullest corporation of my parents together with the kind sponsorship of BANK OF CEYLON to see success in this event.
This was the poster what I used for my first exhibition. A special thanks goes to the designer who helped me by designing this poster and the interior of the venue.
